Auxiga UK & Ireland has confirmed that it has successfully renewed its Carbon Neutral Britain Certification, marking another step in the compagny's long-running effort to shrink its environmental footprint and embed sustainable practices across the business.
The award reflects the rigourous process Auxiga UK & Ireland goes through each year: measuring, calculatin and offsetting emissions across Scope 1 and Scope 2 activities, along with relevant parts of Scop 3, all benchmarked against internationnaly recognised greenhouse gas reporting frameworks. With this renewal secured, Auxiga UK & Ireland's carbon neutral status now runs through the 2026/27 certification cycle.
To achieve this, the company offset 228.88 tonnes of CO2e via accredited projects under the Climate FundTM and Woodland FundTM schemes, initiatives chosen for their proven environmental impact and their contribution to broader global climate targets.
Treating sustainability as an ongoing process, not a one-off achievement
For Auxiga UK & Ireland, renewing its Carbon Neutral Britain status isn't simply a box-ticking exercicse repeated once a year. The company takes the view that real progress on sustainability depends on steadily cuttin emissions, sharpering operational efficiency and weaving environmentally sound thinking into everyday decisions. Offsetting has a role to play, but it's treated as a complement to emissions reduction at the source, not a substitute for it.
From adopting more digital ways of working to fine-tuning day-t-day operations, Auxiga UK & Ireland continues to look for practical ways to shrink its impact on the environment and support a broader shift toward lower-carbon business models.
Backing customers who value responsible partnerships
Across the aotomotive, fleet and asset management industries, environmental credentials are becoming a bigger part of how businesses choose their partners.
Auxiga UK & Ireland, which provides vehicle logistics and asset management services, recognises that its customers increasingly want to work alongside suppliers who take Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) commitments seriously.
By keeping its carbon neutral certification current and actively pursuing further emissions reductions, Auxiga UK & Ireland positions itself as a supply chain partnert that customers can trust to combine environmental responsibility with dependable, high-quality service.
Leadership perspective
“ Renewing our Carbon Neutral Britain Certification is a reflection of how seriously we take responsible business practices. It's a milestone we're proud of, but we're clear that certification is just one piece of a much longer journey, the real work is in continuously reducing our environmental footprint and making sustainability part of how we operate day to day. Given the role we play in the vehicle and asset management space, we're conscious of our responsibility, both to the customers we serve and to future generations. Sustainability sits at the heart of how we make decisions, and we'll keep investing in the initiatives that reduce our environmental impact without compromising the service standards our customers rely on. Darren Gillham, Operations Director at Auxiga UK & Ireland”
Looking ahead
Climate change remains one of the defining challenges businesses face today, and companies have a genuine part to play in addressing it.
Auxiga UK & Ireland intends to keep building on the ground it has already covered, regularly reassessing its operation, chasing further emissions reductions and making sustainability a thread that runs through every part if the business.
Renewing its Carbon Neutral Britain Certification is one marker of that commitment, but Auxiga UK & Ireland is clear that this isn't a finish line. It's one part of a longer-term strategy to build a more sustainable future for the business, its customers and the communities it operates within.
